The General Directorate for the Preservation of Jihadi Heritage under the Taliban’s Ministry of Intelligence and Culture has signed a $150,000 memorandum of understanding with the Technical Liaison Office (TLO) to implement the ‘Local Community Development’ project in Daikundi province. The project aims to strengthen the capacities and skills of the youth in the province over the next year.<\/p>\n
According to a report by Bakhtar News Agency, the agreement was signed by Mufti Mohammad Tahir Ahmad, head of the Directorate for the Preservation of Jihadi Heritage, and Engineer Abdul Rahim Khurram, representative of TLO. Both parties emphasized joint cooperation for the implementation of educational and social programs.<\/p>\n
Under the terms of the agreement, educational, social, and development services programs are planned to be launched for the youth of Daikundi to foster talent and enhance their skills. Officials stated that these programs will be designed to enable young people to actively participate in local development processes.<\/p>\n
Officials from the Directorate of Youth Affairs described the signing of this agreement as a step toward empowering youth and increasing social participation.
