On Sunday, June 21, Durrani wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) page that the presence of U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance and Iran\u2019s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf signals Tehran and Washington\u2019s serious intent to advance the negotiations and reach a sustainable political agreement.<\/p>\n
He emphasized that at this stage, the most crucial challenge is maintaining the continuity of dialogue and preventing any actions that might jeopardize the negotiation process. In his view, careful management of developments and avoidance of new tensions are vital for the success of the talks.<\/p>\n
The former Pakistani special envoy also referred to the roles of Pakistan and Qatar in this process, stating that the involvement of these countries reflects the importance of regional cooperation in supporting peace and stability.<\/p>\n
