The Ministry of Public Health under the Taliban administration has announced the start of registration for the assessment exam of mid-level medical staff trained abroad. According to the ministry’s statement, applicants have until August 15, 2026, to register at the General Directorate for the Evaluation of Foreign Documents at the Directorate of Private Health Sciences Institutes.<\/p>\n
The notice states that the exam will be held on August 17 of this year at 2 p.m. in the main hall of the Ministry of Public Health. The purpose of this exam is to certify the professional fields of the applicants.<\/p>\n
According to the published details, this exam is intended for graduates in nursing, physiotherapy, laboratory sciences, pharmacy, radiology, ophthalmology, dentistry, and anesthesia. Furthermore, holders of nursing and midwifery certificates, if meeting the necessary conditions, can be assessed in the field of anesthesia.<\/p>\n
The Ministry of Public Health has emphasized that applicants must hold Afghan citizenship, present a twelfth-grade graduation certificate approved by the Ministry of Education, and an educational document verified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Additionally, applicants must be under 50 years old and have completed at least two years of training abroad.<\/p>\n
