Upon completion, Afghanistan will be connected to China for the first time through the Wakhan Corridor.<\/p>\n<p>Sharafuddin Muslim, who visited Badakhshan to inspect the project&#8217;s progress, stated that the road&#8217;s operation will reduce travel difficulties for the residents of Wakhan and Pamir. According to him, this route will facilitate easier access for these remote areas to other parts of the country.<\/p>\n<p>According to the released statement, excavation and leveling work is 75% complete, with the remaining sections continuing at &#8220;speed.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The project is estimated to cost 365 million Afghanis and is considered one of the important national and strategic projects.
