The EU’s foreign policy chief welcomed the recent agreement between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran, emphasizing that neglecting these issues could undermine regional stability.<\/p>\n
Kaja Kallas, in recently released remarks, praised the role of Pakistan, Qatar, and other regional and international partners in facilitating the agreement. According to her, this deal could be an important step toward reducing tensions in West Asia, a region that has faced consecutive crises in recent years.<\/p>\n
The senior European official described settlement building in the occupied Palestinian territories as a fundamental challenge to the peace process, underscoring the need for its immediate suspension. In another part of her statement, Kallas stressed that Lebanon must be formally included in the ceasefire agreement between Washington and Tehran.
