In a message on X, Jalal referenced the Gaza war and the actions of the Israeli regime, stating that Benjamin Netanyahu’s experience has shown that relying on military power and increasing civilian casualties does not bring legitimacy or security. Without naming Pakistan directly, he added that those who believe that bombing homes along the Durand Line can solve their problems are following a path that, according to him, leads to failure.<\/p>\n
The Taliban official also said the line between strategic failure and targeting civilians is very thin, and airstrikes cannot replace politics and diplomacy. He stressed that the countries adopting such an approach deepen their own crises.<\/p>\n
In another part of his message, Jalal called for relocating the headquarters of the United Nations from New York to a neutral city such as Doha or Geneva, stating that the institution should distance itself from the influence of major powers to represent a multipolar world.<\/p>\n
These remarks come as Pakistani officials have consistently stated that their airstrikes inside Afghan territory aim to eliminate terrorist hideouts. In contrast, the Taliban administration rejects this claim and accuses Islamabad of deflecting from its internal security problems.
