Sheikh Delawar, head of the Commission for Contact with Afghan Personalities within the Taliban administration, has called on Afghans living abroad to return to the country “without concern,” asserting that a secure environment has been established. The commission announced today on its X (formerly Twitter) page that a number of former Wolesi Jirga deputies met with Sheikh Delawar. Asadullah Shahbaz, Nader Khan Katwazi, Qimat Khan Mangal, Seyed Saleh Mohammad Saleh, Seyed Mohammad Sadiq Hasanzadeh, and Ismail Atikan were identified as participants in the meeting.<\/p>\n
According to the published information, the former Wolesi Jirga members expressed support for the ruling system during the meeting, stating that the “Islamic system” is the common ideal of all Afghans. They also emphasized that the people are tired of war and that there is now a need to work for the country’s development in an atmosphere of unity and brotherhood.
