Lebanon’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that following the targeting of a military vehicle in southern Lebanon, which resulted in the martyrdom of several soldiers, an official complaint has been submitted against Israel to the United Nations Security Council. This action comes amid reports of fresh attacks in multiple areas in southern Lebanon.<\/p>\n
According to the ministry, another complaint has been filed regarding the spraying of the chemical glyphosate over border villages in southern Lebanon. Lebanese officials have described this act as a violation of sovereignty and a threat to the residents of these areas.<\/p>\n
In recent weeks, dozens of villages in southern Lebanon have been targeted by Israeli attacks. News sources have reported new assaults on several regions in the south, as well as an attack on Beirut\u2019s southern suburb of Dahieh, resulting in one martyr and four wounded.<\/p>\n
Al Jazeera network reported that an Israeli drone targeted the al-Rihan Heights in the city of Jezzine. Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes bombed the town of Majdal Silm in Marjeyoun and the vicinity of the Al-Sharqiya village in Nabatieh, while Israeli artillery shelled the surroundings of the village Majdal Zoun.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, Hebrew-language media reported the activation of alarm sirens in parts of western Galilee following the detection of a drone coming from Lebanon. Israel\u2019s Channel 12 reported that a drone crashed and exploded near a military base in western Galilee.
