It is still unclear how this aid will be distributed and through what mechanism.

Meanwhile, Noorulhaqi Abwadrees, the deputy governor of the Taliban administration in Balkh, expressed gratitude for this aid and called for continued cooperation from Turkmenistan with Afghanistan.

On the other hand, Marzabai Kabev, Turkmenistan’s Consul General in Mazar-i-Sharif, stated that these aid packages reflect his country’s commitment to humanitarian principles and regional responsibility.

This aid was sent following a 6.3-magnitude earthquake that shook northern Afghanistan last Sunday night, particularly affecting Samangan and Balkh provinces. The earthquake resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries, causing significant damage to the region.

While foreign aid may help address some immediate needs of the earthquake victims, concerns have been raised about the equitable distribution of these supplies due to a lack of transparent management, absence of lawful institutions, and public distrust in the Taliban administration.

Turkmenistan’s humanitarian aid arrives in Balkh for earthquake victims, raising concerns about distribution amid Taliban administration.

[17,8

post-1506","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-important-news","category-social-affairs
["GET
