The organization ‘Afghanistan Polio-Free’ has announced the launch of a polio vaccination campaign aimed at eradicating the disease in Nangarhar province. According to the organization, the campaign will begin next Saturday and will be conducted across the districts of the province.<\/p>\n
Information released indicates that two types of vaccines will be administered during the campaign: the injectable polio vaccine (fIPV) and the oral polio vaccine (OPV) for children. Officials have stated that the simultaneous use of both vaccines strengthens the children’s immune systems.<\/p>\n
The ‘Afghanistan Polio-Free’ organization emphasized that this initiative plays a crucial role in preventing the spread of the polio virus and called on families to include their children in the campaign to protect them.<\/p>\n
