Turkey’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has responded to recent remarks by Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Israeli regime, stating that the accusations against Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan, Turkey\u2019s president, are unfounded and provocative, and cannot conceal Israel\u2019s responsibility for its actions.<\/p>\n
An official statement from the ministry said Netanyahu\u2019s comments are an attempt to divert global public opinion from ongoing developments in the region. Ankara emphasized that statements aimed at covering up the facts will not prevent accountability for Israel\u2019s conduct.<\/p>\n
The Turkish Foreign Ministry further declared that the country will continue to express its positions regarding Israeli policies and will pursue the matter within the framework of international law and through international judicial bodies.<\/p>\n
This verbal tension escalated after Netanyahu, in response to Erdo\u011fan\u2019s remarks, accused him of suppressing domestic opponents and supporting Hamas. Netanyahu stated that Turkey cannot lecture Israel on “moral lessons.” He also stressed that Israel would continue its operations against Iran and its allies in the region.<\/p>\n
