Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s Prime Minister, dismissed recent remarks by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, stating that Erdogan is not qualified to “lecture Israel on morality.” This response came after Erdogan claimed that Israel “threatens humanity” and warned that its military operations in Syria and Lebanon could pose risks to Turkey as well.<\/p>\n
In reply, Netanyahu accused Erdogan of domestic repression, imprisoning political opponents, and supporting the Hamas movement. He added that Erdogan is the last person who could morally criticize Israel.<\/p>\n
The Israeli Prime Minister further emphasized that his country will continue its actions against Iran and its regional allies, claiming these actors pose a threat to the West Asia region and the wider world.<\/p>\n
Earlier, Turkish President Erdogan had stated that Israel has overstepped its bounds and become a threat to global security. He warned that Israel’s attacks on Syria and Lebanon have reached a level that affects Turkey’s security.<\/p>\n
