Meanwhile, the Chinese Foreign Ministry, expressing deep concern over the escalating conflict in the Middle East, called for an immediate halt to the tensions. Beijing stressed that intensifying the conflict damages regional stability and that political means should be used to manage disputes.<\/p>\n
