Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations has once again accused India of conducting activities in Afghanistan, including development projects and humanitarian aid, with the aim of destabilizing Pakistan.<\/p>\n
Asim Iftikhar Ahmed stated that it is “completely clear” to Islamabad that New Delhi\u2019s primary objectives in Afghanistan are solely to weaken and destabilize Pakistan\u2014an allegation repeatedly made by Pakistani officials in recent years.<\/p>\n
In another part of his remarks addressed to the Taliban administration, he emphasized Pakistan\u2019s “simple and clear” demand: verifiable and irreversible actions against terrorist groups that reportedly operate from Afghan soil. According to the Pakistani diplomat, this demand has yet to be met.<\/p>\n
The Pakistani envoy warned that the “window for course correction” is narrowing, though it has not yet closed. He expressed hope that the Taliban authorities will take this matter seriously and cooperate effectively with the international community for long-term peace and development in Afghanistan, benefiting its people.<\/p>\n
