The organization described this as a continuation of the repression of women&#8217;s rights in Afghanistan.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, June 7, Amnesty International posted on the social media platform X that these actions are a reminder of the ongoing organized pressures against women and girls in the country\u2014pressures that have been widely enforced since the Taliban regained control of Afghanistan.<\/p>\n<p>Amnesty International emphasized that every woman has the right to decide what to wear, to move freely, and to participate in public life without fear or intimidation.
