According to the commission, 551 families have received cash assistance and 532 families have been transferred to various provinces.<\/p>\n<p>Mullah Hamdullah Fetrat, Deputy Spokesperson of the Taliban administration, published these figures in a daily report on his X (formerly Twitter) account. According to this report, the majority of returnees\u2014513 families comprising 2,778 individuals\u2014entered the country via the Torkham border in Nangarhar province after registration.<\/p>\n<p>The information further indicates that 448 families from Torkham have been transferred to Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman, and Kabul provinces, with over 2,020,000 Afghani paid for their transportation costs. Additionally, at the same border, more than 4,182,000 Afghani in total cash assistance was provided to 504 families, alongside health and telecommunications services offered at the Omari camp.<\/p>\n<p>At the Spin Boldak border in Kandahar province, 59 families, including 320 individuals, have also returned. Among them, 9 families were transferred to Kabul, with over 97,000 Afghani allocated for their transportation expenses. Moreover, 22 families received a total of 188,000 Afghani in assistance, with food, health, and telecommunications services provided at the border.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, 21 families totaling 77 people entered the country through the Silk Bridge in Nimroz province. Cash assistance of 16,000 Afghani was given to 2 of these families, and health services were provided to 197 individuals. From the Islam Qala border in Herat, 23 families comprising 95 people returned and received a total of 166,000 Afghani in aid.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the Transfer and Transportation Committee in Kabul has relocated 75 families, including 425 individuals, to various provinces and paid over 326,000 Afghani for transportation costs.<\/p>\n<p>These statistics come amid an increase in migrant returns in recent months, with many returning families facing serious challenges regarding shelter, access to basic services, and employment opportunities.
