The Taliban-run Ministry of Public Health has announced that medical supplies valued at approximately $235,000 have been distributed to hospitals in the provincial center and districts of Nangarhar province.<\/p>\n
According to the ministry, the aid includes ultrasound machines, neonatal care devices (baby warmers), and special health kits for treating diarrhea and maternity services. The purpose of providing this equipment is to strengthen healthcare services in the medical centers of the province.<\/p>\n
Nangarhar, located in eastern Afghanistan, faces shortages of standard medical facilities in some areas, and district hospitals have limited access to advanced medical equipment.<\/p>\n
