Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned Israel’s attack on a Lebanese army patrol, describing it as a “dangerous escalation of tension” in southern Lebanon. This statement comes amid reports of an increase in Israeli air and drone strikes across various areas in southern Lebanon.<\/p>\n
The official Lebanese news agency reported that in an attack on the village of Harouf in southern Lebanon, two people were killed and six others, including three rescue workers, were injured. At the same time, the Lebanese army confirmed that in an attack on a military vehicle on the Khaldiyeh-Nabatieh road, several Lebanese soldiers, including one officer, were martyred.<\/p>\n
According to released reports, in another attack on a vehicle on the Khardali-Jarmaq road, a Lebanese army officer and his driver were also killed. These incidents have heightened concerns over the expansion of conflicts in the region.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Lebanese sources have reported that a wave of Israeli air and drone attacks on towns and villages in southern Lebanon began several hours ago. The villages of Abbasiyah, Mifdoun, Jwaya, Nabatieh, and Kounine were among the targeted areas, resulting in additional casualties.<\/p>\n
