He once again called on the Taliban administration to lift the ban on girls’ education, emphasizing that the continuation of such restrictions hinders the country’s progress and that educational opportunities must be created within Afghanistan.

According to Karzai, under this scholarship program, 74 Afghan girls have graduated from various universities in the United States. He cited this achievement as an example of the capability and potential of Afghan girls, who can excel at the highest academic levels if given opportunities.

The former president also thanked organizations that support the continuation of girls’ education in Afghanistan and described the creation of job opportunities for educated personnel as a fundamental need for the country’s development.

This comes as the Taliban administration, following its return to power, has banned education for girls beyond the sixth grade and restricted employment for women in many offices and institutions. These limitations have sparked widespread domestic and international criticism, casting serious uncertainty over the educational future of millions of girls in the country.

Former Afghan president Karzai urges the Taliban to lift the ban on girls’ education, praising scholarships given to Afghan girls in the US.

[4

post-14517","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-politics
["GET
