This figure covers the days of Eid and the following week.<\/p>\n<p>Saboor Farzan Sighani, spokesman for the governor of Bamyan, said that according to official figures, these tourists have visited the ancient Buddha statues, Glalghala city, Zahak city, Band-e Amir, Chehel Borj Ikawlang,fuladi valley, and other historical and recreational sites. He stated that 141,000 people alone visited Band-e Amir National Park, the country\u2019s first national park.<\/p>\n<p>The Information and Culture Department of Bamyan also announced continued efforts to provide more facilities for tourists and expand the tourism industry. Qari Syed Mustafa Saleh, head of the department, highlighted nationwide security, the presence of historical and recreational areas, and the favorable weather in Bamyan during spring and summer as key factors behind the increase in tourist numbers.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Noorullah Noorzi, one of the visitors, considers Bamyan one of the country\u2019s most important tourist provinces due to its archaeological sites and natural beauty. He added that with improved services and amenities, the number of tourists could increase even further.
