On the first flight, 346 pilgrims from Nangarhar province, accompanied by seven caravan teachers, arrived in Kabul. According to a statement released by the ministry today (Monday), the return of pilgrims will take place in two phases through four air zones in the country: Kabul, Balkh, Kandahar, and Herat. This division aims to better organize flights and ensure orderly transportation of the pilgrims. Under this plan, in the first phase, nearly half of the pilgrims who initially traveled directly from Afghanistan to Medina for Hajj will return to the country via Jeddah International Airport. This group began their return immediately after completing the Hajj rituals. In the second phase, other pilgrims who initially traveled from Jeddah to Mecca will, after performing 40 prayers at the Prophet’s Mosque and visiting the sacred and historical sites in Medina, be transferred to Jeddah and then return to Afghanistan according to a predetermined schedule. The Ministry added that the first return flight landed today at 9:50 AM Kabul time, operated by Kam Air from Jeddah to Kabul International Airport. The flight carried 346 pilgrims from Nangarhar and seven caravan teachers. According to the ministry, the transfer of all 30,000 Afghan pilgrims will be completed in an organized manner over 97 flights within the next 30 days, based on a prearranged schedule.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Afghanistan begins repatriation of 30,000 pilgrims from Saudi Arabia in two phases via four air zones, starting with 346 pilgrims from Nangarhar on first flight.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":14126,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[17,18,16],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-14127","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-important-news","category-religion-thought","category-secondary-headline"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/14127","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=14127"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/14127\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/14126"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=14127"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=14127"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=14127"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
