The Ministry of Health in Gaza has reported that since the outbreak of war on October 7, 2023, the death toll in the enclave has reached 72,939, with 172,927 injured. The ministry continues to describe the humanitarian situation in Gaza as critical.<\/p>\n
According to the ministry’s daily report, in the past 24 hours, the bodies of one new martyr and eight injured individuals have been transferred to Gaza hospitals. It remains emphasized that many victims are still trapped under rubble and on the roads, with rescue teams unable to reach them due to severe security challenges and widespread destruction.<\/p>\n
The Ministry of Health in Gaza also stated that since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11, 930 people have been killed and 2,819 others wounded. During this period, 781 bodies have been retrieved from under the debris.<\/p>\n
During the Eid al-Adha holiday, 33 people were killed and more than 130 injured and transferred to medical centers in the enclave\u2014statistics that indicate despite the ceasefire, attacks and casualties continue.<\/p>\n
Gaza, one of the most densely populated Palestinian areas, has faced extensive infrastructure destruction, shortages in health services, and severe restrictions on aid access since the start of the war.
