The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) has announced a recent meeting between its officials and the Turkmenistan delegation in Herat, focusing on regional cooperation and advancing infrastructure projects to support Afghanistan’s economic rebuilding efforts.<\/p>\n
According to released information, Paola Jerusalem, the newly appointed head of UNAMA, met with Batyr Yulyev, the Consul General of Turkmenistan in Herat. During the meeting, both parties emphasized the crucial role Turkmenistan plays in Afghanistan’s stability and economic development.<\/p>\n
The discussions highlighted large-scale energy and transit projects as key tools for collaboration between the two countries.
