The Afghan Red Crescent Society announced that, in cooperation with Turkey, it has distributed 5,000 kilograms of sacrificial meat to one thousand needy families in Kabul. These aid efforts were carried out ahead of the Eid al-Adha holiday with the aim of supporting underprivileged families.<\/p>\n
Hafiz Aziz-ur-Rahman, head of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, stated at the distribution ceremony that the sacrificial meat was procured with Turkey\u2019s collaboration and efforts have been made to ensure deserving families benefit from it during the Eid celebrations. He added that the organization strives to deliver humanitarian aid transparently and systematically to eligible individuals across various areas.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Bilal Omar Bilal, Deputy Turkish Ambassador in Kabul, emphasized that his country will continue its humanitarian cooperation with the people of Afghanistan and remains committed to supporting families in need.<\/p>\n
Several recipients of the aid expressed that, given the current difficult economic situation, buying sacrificial meat was not feasible for them, and this support fulfilled part of their families\u2019 Eid needs. Sardarwali, one of the beneficiaries, said he had been unable to perform the sacrifice due to the dire economic conditions and thanked the Red Crescent for delivering the meat.<\/p>\n
