The Taliban’s Ministry of Guidance, Hajj, and Endowments has announced that the transfer of Afghan pilgrims from Mina to the Arafat plain has been completed in coordination with relevant Saudi authorities and according to a prearranged schedule.<\/p>\n
According to the ministry, after spending the “Day of Tarwiyah” in Mina performing rituals and prayers, the pilgrims were transported this morning in organized convoys to Arafat to perform the central rite of Hajj, known as Wuquf al-Arafah.<\/p>\n
The announcement stated that this process was carried out under the direct supervision of Noor Muhammad Saqib, head of the Taliban’s Ministry of Guidance, Hajj, and Endowments, and in cooperation with Hajj committees and service companies. Equipped tents and necessary facilities have also been provided for the pilgrims in the Arafat desert.<\/p>\n
The ministry further declared that on the Day of Arafah, the Afghan pilgrims will pray for the unity of Muslims as well as for the security, stability, and progress of Afghanistan.
