The spokesperson for the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has confirmed that US forces carried out attacks targeting locations in southern Iran during the ongoing ceasefire with the Islamic Republic of Iran. Hawkins also stated that a surface-to-air missile (SAM) site in Bandar Abbas was bombed after what was described as targeting American fighter jets. He emphasized that these actions do not signify the end of the ceasefire and that the United States is simultaneously exercising “restraint.”<\/p>\n
