Armenia’s Foreign Minister has stated that despite some challenges in the relations between Yerevan and Moscow, his country remains interested in maintaining and expanding bilateral cooperation with Russia.<\/p>\n
In an interview with the media, Ararat Mirzoyan said that Yerevan has always sought to develop relations with Moscow and considers this approach a key part of its foreign policy. According to him, Armenia strives to manage its relations with various partners based on mutual interests.<\/p>\n
He also emphasized that Armenia’s strategic cooperation with the United States and the European Union is not against Russia, and the country continues mutually beneficial cooperation with its foreign partners in various fields.<\/p>\n
However, the Armenian Foreign Minister acknowledged that there are problems in the relations between Moscow and Yerevan. In recent months, Armenia’s efforts to get closer to the European Union and the United States have been cited as one of the main causes of the deterioration in relations between the two countries.<\/p>\n
