Esmail Baqaei said the two sides are finalizing a 14-point memorandum of understanding focusing on ending the war, halting US maritime aggressions, releasing Iran’s frozen assets, and demanding the lifting of sanctions. According to him, after this memorandum is finalized, a 30 to 60-day period will begin for talks on details, including nuclear issues and sanctions. Baqaei emphasized that Iran’s current focus is on ending the war on all fronts, and nuclear matters have not yet entered the detailed negotiations. He also referred to Pakistan as the “official mediator” of the talks and noted that Qatar has played a facilitative role in recent days. The Foreign Ministry spokesperson added that the outcome of the talks will become clearer in the next three to four days.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Iran’s indirect talks with the US, mediated by Pakistan, are nearing a 14-point agreement focusing on ending conflict and lifting sanctions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":13541,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[17,6,3],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-13542","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-important-news","category-international","category-top-news"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/13542","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=13542"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/13542\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/13541"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=13542"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=13542"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/atlaspress.news\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=13542"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
