The executive leadership of Afghanistan’s power company has announced an evaluation of the operational and technical progress of the Kajaki Dam electricity capacity expansion project in Helmand province. The visit aimed to assess work quality, progress status, and adherence to technical standards.<\/p>\n
According to a press release from the company, a delegation led by Mullah Abdul Haq Hamkar, the Executive General Director, visited various sections of the project to closely examine the workflow, technical quality, dam stability, and operational advancements. During the visit, officials were given recommendations to enhance efficiency, accelerate project execution, and comply with technical criteria.<\/p>\n
Mullah Abdul Haq Hamkar emphasized that the remaining work on this project must proceed according to technical principles, established standards, and the timeline, so that in addition to meeting the electricity needs of surrounding areas, the national electricity production capacity is also strengthened.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, he appreciated the efforts of the contractor company “77 Turki” and urged that the remaining parts of the project be completed on time and prepared for operation.
