The Taliban administration in Afghanistan’s Herat province claims that imports via the Khaf-Herat railway line have increased fivefold compared to last year, with up to 2,000 tons of goods now entering Afghanistan daily from Iran through this route.<\/p>\n
According to Taliban officials, unloading operations at the Rozanak station continue on a daily basis. The railway, which connects Khaf in Iran to Herat in western Afghanistan, is considered one of the key infrastructure projects between the two countries.<\/p>\n
Recently, the first diesel shipment was delivered to Herat via this railway, and Taliban officials said a second fuel shipment is expected to arrive by the end of this week.<\/p>\n
