According to Chinese officials, this decision has been made as part of strengthening export controls and preventing the use of these materials in drug manufacturing.<\/p>\n<p>According to an official statement from Beijing, Afghanistan, Myanmar, and Laos are among the countries to which export of these materials is prohibited without prior authorization. Chinese authorities have emphasized that the purpose of these restrictions is to prevent the diversion of chemical substances to illegal activities.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, China has also expanded the list of controlled raw chemical materials exported to the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
