Officials from Ghor’s Public Health Directorate have announced the commencement of constructing a basic health center in the Asparf area of Murghab district, with a budget exceeding 1.5 million Afghanis. This project is being implemented with financial support from the Public Health Directorate and in cooperation with the Baran Institute (Bu Ali Rehabilitation Network) and is planned to be carried out by the local community.<\/p>\n
Sheikh Abdulwahid Hamas, head of Ghor Public Health, stated during his visit to Murghab district that the center has been designed based on the needs of residents from several villages in the area. He emphasized that the Public Health Directorate strives to provide standard health services for the people by utilizing available resources.<\/p>\n
According to officials, once the health center is completed, residents of Asparf and surrounding villages will have access to basic medical services nearby, services that previously required many families to travel long distances.<\/p>\n
Several local residents have welcomed the start of this project. Ghulam Haidar, a resident of Asparf, said that the construction of this center will facilitate the transfer of patients\u2014especially children, women, and the elderly\u2014and reduce the need to travel to distant areas.<\/p>\n
Ziaul Haq Rahimi, another resident of Murghab district, also expressed hope that the completion of this clinic will alleviate health-related challenges for the people.
