This figure places Afghanistan among the top five countries sending tourists to Uzbekistan.<\/p>\n<p>According to official statistics, a total of 4,048,000 foreign tourists from various countries visited Uzbekistan during the same period. This number reflects an approximately 30 percent increase compared to the same period in 2025, equivalent to nearly 930,000 more visitors.<\/p>\n<p>Among regional countries, Kyrgyzstan leads with over 1,141,000 tourists. It is followed by Tajikistan with 965,000 and Kazakhstan with 935,000 tourists visiting Uzbekistan. Afghanistan ranks fifth with more than 161,000 visitors. Other significant sources of tourists to Uzbekistan include Russia, China, Turkmenistan, Turkey, India, and South Korea.<\/p>\n<p>Although Uzbekistan does not officially recognize the Taliban administration, economic and humanitarian relations between the two sides continue. Reports indicate that the volume of bilateral trade between the countries reached approximately $1.7 billion in 2025.
