Based on this announcement, Tuesday, May 26 (5 Jowza) has been designated as Day of Arafah.

In a statement released by the court on Saturday, May 15 (26 Sowr), it was stated that this decision was made after reviewing reports from the Hilal Committee. However, no details were provided regarding the process of the review or the areas evaluated.

As of the time of this report, Saudi Arabia has not yet declared the official date for Eid al-Adha. In previous years, discrepancies in setting the Eid date between Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia have often caused confusion among parts of the population.

Since the Taliban returned to power, their administration has not coordinated with Saudi Arabia regarding moon sighting regulations. Instead, they announce the start of Ramadan and Eid holidays annually based on decisions made by their own Hilal Committee. Last year, Eid al-Adha in Afghanistan was declared one day later than in Saudi Arabia, a situation that many residents of the country consider in need of greater transparency and coordination.

Afghanistan’s Taliban-led Supreme Court has declared Eid al-Adha for Wednesday due to moon sighting issues, highlighting ongoing coordination challenges with Saudi Arabia.

[17,18,16

post-13233","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-important-news","category-religion-thought","category-secondary-headline
["GET
