The Taliban\u2019s Ministry of Mines and Petroleum has announced that Hesamuddin Saberi, the Deputy for Administrative and Financial Affairs of the ministry, has met with a number of investors from Uzbekistan and China to discuss investment opportunities in Afghanistan’s mining sector.<\/p>\n
According to a statement released by the ministry, the investors expressed appreciation for the ‘appropriate investment environment’ and the comprehensive security provided throughout the country. They also conveyed their interest in investing in both metallic and non-metallic mines.<\/p>\n
Officials from the Ministry of Mines assured that necessary facilities and cooperation required for investment will be provided in accordance with mining laws and regulations.<\/p>\n
Afghanistan is rich in significant mineral reserves across various regions.
