According to these sources, the decision was made following an official meeting last week between the Taliban&#8217;s Minister of Communications and the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (ATRA).<\/p>\n<p>According to Amu TV, one of the sources stated that, based on an official document, telecom service providers have been instructed to suspend fiber optic internet services in residential areas of Kabul. The source added that this restriction mainly covers residential homes and some companies and official offices might be exempted.<\/p>\n<p>The document also specifies that DSL internet services may continue.
