Lebanese sources report that multiple towns and transportation routes in southern Lebanon have been targeted by bombings and drone attacks.<\/p>\n
The Lebanese Ministry of Health’s Emergency Medical Center announced that in three separate attacks on the Saida\u2013South coastal highway in the areas of Barja, Al-Jibiyah, and Al-Saadayat, eight people were killed. Additionally, a drone strike near the Saida stadium killed one person and wounded another.<\/p>\n
Lebanese news agencies also reported that at least four vehicles were targeted between the cities of Saida and Beirut. According to local sources, Israeli drones targeted vehicles on the Beirut\u2013Al-Jiyeh route as well.<\/p>\n
Israeli fighter jets bombed the towns of Dbaal in Tyre, Abbasiyah, Deir Qanoun, Al-Kharayeb, Kafr Rumman, Majdal Zoun, Toulon, and Al-Qulaylah. Following the attack on Deir Qanoun and eastern Tyre, two wounded individuals were transferred to the Tyre hospital.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Avichay Adraee, spokesperson for the Israeli army, has urged residents of Kafr Hitti, Arab Salim, and Deir Al-Zahrani to evacuate these areas \u2014 a move observers interpret as a threat of further escalation of attacks.<\/p>\n
The Israeli military claims it has targeted over 40 Hezbollah-related positions in southern Lebanon within the past 24 hours.
