He emphasized that the future of the country depends on the health status and education level of mothers.

In a message he released, Khalilzad described mothers as the “heart of the family” and at the same time as builders of the future of nations. According to him, scientific evidence shows that the welfare and progress of any society is directly linked to the health and awareness of mothers.

He also noted that to preserve the precious lives of mothers and children, women must reach full physical and mental maturity before their first pregnancy. In his view, a literate mother is the first and most influential teacher for a child and can play a decisive role in the child’s mental development.

This appeal comes amid widespread restrictions on the education of girls and women in Afghanistan, which remain firmly in place, and the Taliban administration has so far taken no effective action to reopen schools and universities to girls. International organizations have previously warned about the shortage of health services for mothers and the consequences of this on family health.

Many observers believe that the continuation of these restrictions not only violates the fundamental rights of women but also poses a serious threat to the future of coming generations—a point that Khalilzad’s message has now highlighted once again.

Former US envoy Khalilzad urges the Taliban to improve education and health for mothers, stressing their crucial role in Afghanistan’s future.

[17,4

post-12696","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-important-news","category-politics
["GET
