The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that Ukraine has violated the temporary ceasefire more than 16,071 times since its announcement on May 8, with Russian forces responding to these violations accordingly.<\/p>\n
In a statement released by the ministry, it was noted that all Russian units stationed in the areas referred to as the “special military operation” continue to fully adhere to the ceasefire and remain in their previous positions. According to Moscow, this directive has been carried out unchanged since the designated date.<\/p>\n
The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that during the ceasefire, the country’s air force fleet, drone units, missile, and artillery units have not conducted any attacks. Conversely, according to the statement, Ukrainian forces have carried out 676 artillery attacks, 6,331 drone attacks, and eight direct assaults on Russian positions in the past 24 hours.<\/p>\n
It was also reported that 57 Ukrainian drones have been shot down during this period. The Russian Ministry of Defense added that in response to what they described as ceasefire violations, retaliatory attacks were carried out against Ukrainian fire-launching positions and drone control centers.<\/p>\n
Ukrainian officials have not yet issued an official response regarding these claims.
