Prefabricated girders for the bridge will soon be ready for installation. This project aims to reduce traffic congestion in one of the busiest areas of the capital.<\/p>\n<p>According to released information, the bridge will be 235 meters long, 18 meters wide, and 6.8 meters high. Additionally, 472 meters of handrails have been planned. The Kabul Municipality\u2019s Department of Maintenance and Care is currently constructing six sturdy foundations for it.<\/p>\n<p>The project design also includes a circular ramp with a radius of 33 meters and a length of 150 meters to manage vehicle flow more smoothly. The bridge will have four driving lanes\u2014two lanes for each direction\u2014combined with circular ramps that allow uninterrupted and non-conflicting vehicle movement.<\/p>\n<p>Salangwat Road, known as one of the most congested routes in central Kabul, experiences heavy vehicle traffic daily.
