The front stated that the attack took place along the &#8220;Farahrud Highway.&#8221; In a statement released on Saturday, 19th of Sowr, the front said the operation was conducted two days earlier, and its forces returned to their positions after the assault. The Taliban administration has not yet commented on this claim. The Farahrud Highway is one of the important transit routes in western Afghanistan, connecting parts of Farah province to other regions. Insecurity along this route can affect residents&#8217; travel and local transportation. This comes after the National Resistance Front last week also claimed responsibility for an attack on Taliban forces in Kabul.
