The European Union’s humanitarian aid division has announced that, following recent devastating floods in Afghanistan, thousands of families across various provinces are facing severe shortages of essential supplies, and the distribution of urgent aid has commenced.<\/p>\n
On Thursday, 17th of Sowr, the agency reported that in cooperation with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), relief packages and cash assistance are being delivered to affected families. According to the organization, aid is being distributed from Badghis province in the west of the country to Kandahar in the south.<\/p>\n
Details indicate that this support includes essential items such as basic household supplies as well as cash aid to enable victims to meet their immediate needs and begin the process of rebuilding their lives.<\/p>\n
