He stated that this decision was made in response to requests from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.<\/p>\n<p>The Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the action and hoped that the ongoing process would lead to a lasting agreement, ensuring durable peace and stability for the region and beyond. According to him, reducing tensions in one of the world\u2019s most important maritime passages could pave the way for reconciliation and increased cooperation among regional countries.<\/p>\n<p>Sharif also emphasized Pakistan\u2019s commitment to peaceful conflict resolution and support for all efforts that promote restraint and dialogue. He added that Islamabad seeks to achieve a peaceful solution through diplomacy.<\/p>\n<p>Simultaneously, Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, Iran\u2019s Foreign Minister who is currently in Beijing, held a phone call with Faisal bin Farhan, Saudi Arabia\u2019s Foreign Minister, to discuss the latest regional developments.
