This system ensures uninterrupted operation of the hospital’s emergency, maternity, and surgical services.

According to released information, this hospital provides healthcare services to nearly 17,000 patients each month, and stable electricity supply plays a crucial role in maintaining continuous operations of its critical departments. Previously, power outages were a significant challenge to delivering urgent medical services in many areas across the country.

Servubi District is located east of Kabul, and its residents, like those in many other regions, face severe limitations in healthcare infrastructure. Equipping medical centers with renewable energy can help alleviate some of these shortages.

While Afghanistan’s health sector has been struggling with extensive financial and managerial challenges following recent political developments, international organizations continue to strive to maintain public access to basic healthcare through support projects. However, it is expected that the Taliban administration will also take practical and transparent measures to sustainably improve healthcare infrastructure and reduce dependency on external aid.

UNDP installs a 100 kW solar system at Servubi District Hospital in Kabul, ensuring stable power for emergency and maternity health services.

[9,17

post-12330","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-health","category-important-news
["GET
