Polish authorities have announced that at least 84 migrants have been detained along the country’s borders with Lithuania and Germany over the past four days. Among those arrested are citizens of Afghanistan and Pakistan. This action is part of intensified border controls implemented by Poland.<\/p>\n
According to the information provided, 37 of these migrants were detained near the border with Lithuania and Belarus while attempting to illegally enter Polish territory. Poland is known as one of the entry points to the European Union, and many migrants try to use this route to reach Western European countries.<\/p>\n
In a separate incident in the city of Gubin, near the German border, three migrants including an Afghan citizen were arrested. Border officials stated that these individuals were identified while attempting to illegally cross into Germany and had no legal residency documents in Poland.<\/p>\n
Polish authorities said the detainees admitted they intended to reach Germany and had previously entered Poland via Lithuania.
