During his meetings with local officials, he emphasized the improvement of service delivery and the acceleration of resolving residents’ issues.

According to published reports, Hanafi identified ensuring security, timely service provision, and proper treatment of citizens as fundamental priorities for government offices. He urged officials to make serious efforts to better serve the people. This comes amid complaints from residents in eastern provinces over the past months regarding sluggish administrative services and lack of resources.

The administrative deputy also evaluated the situation of refugees in the eastern zone, stressing the need to expedite their permanent settlement process. He highlighted the importance of providing drinking water, distributing residential plots, and addressing the basic needs of refugees in Nangarhar, Kunar, and Nuristan provinces.

Despite these emphases, many returnee families in these areas face shortages of shelter, clean water, and job opportunities.
