The Taliban’s Ministry of Justice has announced that the Special Court for Cases of Seized Lands in the central district has officially registered more than 841 jeribs of land in the Alokhil village of Kabul’s 16th district as property of the Taliban administration. According to the ministry, this decision was based on Sharia law and follows a thorough review of documents and information from relevant agencies.<\/p>\n
According to the court’s ruling, 841.254 jeribs of land, encompassing two cadastral plots, after a comprehensive examination of all documents, records, and information from the related departments, have been registered as Emirate property. The Ministry of Justice stated that these areas were previously registered and surveyed in cadastral offices in the name of the government.<\/p>\n
This case was referred to the special court by the Land Seizure Prevention Commission, based on Article 17 of the Law on Prevention of Land Seizure and Restitution of Seized Lands. After reviewing the documents of occupants, property offices, and information from relevant institutions, the court issued its final ruling.<\/p>\n
The final order states that the lands will be handed over to the Land Seizure Prevention and Restitution Commission for subsequent processes. However, no details have been released regarding the status of residents or individuals who previously occupied these areas.<\/p>\n
