According to the ruling, the processing of asylum applications for a number of Afghans who have been waiting for a final decision for years must resume.<\/p>\n<p>The organization stated that the U.S. government had previously attempted to reject these cases by citing a halt in reviewing applications from so-called &#8220;high-risk&#8221; countries.
