According to officials, the detainee was attempting to illicitly unearth historical artifacts.<\/p>\n<p>The Badghis provincial office, operated under the Taliban administration, issued a statement reporting that the individual was identified and arrested today after noon in the Dehankucheh area of Jawand district, following several tracking and discovery operations.<\/p>\n<p>During the operation, a metal detector stand, a laptop computer, and a number of excavation-related tools were confiscated from the suspect.<\/p>\n<p>Officials added that after completing preliminary investigations, the case will be referred to judicial and legal institutions for appropriate legal action.
