According to the newspaper, six soldiers have committed suicide just in the current month, a figure that has intensified concerns about the mental health of military personnel.<\/p>\n<p>Haaretz had previously reported that the war against Iran has had widespread psychological repercussions on Israeli society. According to that report, millions are facing severe, clinical-level mental health issues.<\/p>\n<p>The newspaper writes that one in five Israelis shows signs of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Additionally, around seven percent of the population struggle with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), while cases of depression, anxiety, and addiction have also risen significantly.<\/p>\n<p>A coalition of mental health organizations operating in the occupied territories believes Israeli society is facing a &#8216;psychological tsunami&#8217; whose full consequences are not yet fully visible.
